Lead is axial travel per revolution. Pitch is the distance between adjacent threads. These differ on multi-start screws.
Theoretical full-step travel = screw lead / full steps per revolution. Microstep command increments do not guarantee positioning accuracy.
Specify load, orientation, travel, target speed, duty cycle, mounting and electrical constraints. Include positioning accuracy and repeatability requirements separately.
Thrust must be reviewed with the operating speed and test conditions. Peak thrust is not a continuous rating.
